"You went above and beyond the call of duty to make it perfect!" ~ W. Shedd, Vermont
"You were the only source I interviewed who didn't say 'Excuse me, I have to go look that up!'" ~ J. Brooks, Kentucky
Our first step is to understand your interests, needs, and wants. We start with the information you've provided us by completing the Contact Us page and then follow this up with a phone call. Before we make any reservations, we want to learn more about your previous experience in Britain (if any), what makes a trip memorable for you, your expectations, and any special requirements you might have. Of course, we'll want to learn more about your budget and where you'd like to splurge and where you'd like to be thrifty. Since we are not charging you any booking fees, we expect to be booking the large majority of your trip. We do no accept requests for single items.
Once we have a clear idea of what you are looking for, we review for you our booking procedures and policies and our payment requirements. We require a photocopy of your credit card front and back to verify that it is yours with a permission note giving us the right to use it preceeded by your signed okay on an invoice. We are always available to answer any questions you may have. We will always make changes as we go to improve the efficiency of your trip. However we expect you to work with us and to follow the schedule as we set it up. We will make every effort to sell you the least expensive accommodations that will do the job for you so your accurate estimate of your budget is very important. We expect you to know what things cost BEFORE asking for our help. Repeated cancelling and rebooking of accommodations will result in the cancellation of your booking.
When your trip is planned and the particulars agreed on, we prepare your documents. Documents are usually provided 3 to 4 weeks before your departure and mailed to you by FedEx™ at our expense. A few weeks before you leave, we can have a conference phone call to discuss how your trip will work day by day till you are comfortable with the schedule.
When you return, we want to hear how your trip went, what was a success, and what you'd do differently next time. We'll give you a call to get your comments so we can continue to maintain the highest levels of personalized travel service for future clients.
How We Help You: Our purpose is to provide you with assistance that will enable you to have a trip better planned, more efficiently organized providing the very best value for the dollar currently available at the time you choose to travel.
We can take any reason for traveling (see examples) and fine tune it to produce a better trip for less money than you can do on your own. Our knowledge, experience, connections and the feedback from 15 years of client experiences can make it happen for you.
Most important of all, the independent travel skills you will learn along the way will make you better travelers in the future not only in Britain but anywhere you choose to visit. We can minimize the amount of pre-trip research you have to do by focusing your efforts a bit more clearly in the direction you wish to go and by providing you not just web sites of interest but also brochures and written literature you can read at your leisure.
Your trip is more fun when you participate in the process but with our help, it will be much easier for you and you can spend your time enjoying the experience. Our recommendations are reliable as they come from our own travel experience. Our many trips over the last few years have taught us what NOT to do as much as what to do. As British travel specialists (Travel to England, Scotland, Wales & Ireland), we save you making the same mistakes. We are experienced professionals and we expect our client relationships to be based on mutual respect.
